I CAN afford it and I look super cool with one. Whoever designed it at CCP deserves a raise. Im not too keen on the boots but the monocle makes me look EVIL CRAZY
Also it has a black box recorder built in.

Let me put it this way to you haters.
1) Does my avatar look better, even if very slightly, then it would without a monocle. Slightly different, slightly unique, slightly cooler.
2) If the monocle cost 10 isk, would you buy one, if only for some slight entertainment amongst your corpies.
The answer, my hateful poor friends, is YES and YES
The only thing stopping you buying one, is the cost of the item
I am rich, however, and the cost is the same to me as 10 isk is to you.
ERGO: The only reason you do not buy a monocle is that you are poor.

No offense meant but that monocle looks like crap. Now off course it's a matter of taste but even at 0.01 isks i wouldn't get it.
This said it's not because something looks nice it's worth the price. I like bacon but i wouldn't pay 1k for 100gr of it even if i have the money.
You are simply saying that to look cool amongst your peer group.

If you were offered a monocle for 0.01 isk YOU WOULD GET IT

There is no legal way to transfer isk into dollars. And the illegal way is fraught with difficulty.

That thread is aimed at people who are considering buying plex with dollars. Not monocles with isk!

Due to extreme abuse I have received in this thread. I have now lowered my Head in the portrait so nobody may gaze apon the monocle
Only I will be able to view it in the privacy of my own Captains Quarters
